Modded Hairspray

An uncommon weapon with 8–12 uses that deals 1 fire damage in a cone and inflicts Burn 1 on every target hit — a wide-angle fire applicator capable of hitting multiple enemies in a single action.

The cone attack pattern is Modded Hairspray's defining trait — unlike single-target fire weapons, it can apply Burn 1 to an entire cluster of enemies simultaneously. The direct damage is minimal at 1 per target, but the Burn stacks accumulate across multiple hits and continue dealing fire damage over time. With 8–12 uses, it has enough charges to cover multiple combat rounds, making it more durable than many limited-use weapons in its rarity tier.

Modded Hairspray is strong in fire-stack builds where each Burn application triggers passive bonuses or synergistic abilities. It excels against tightly grouped enemies — a single use can light up an entire flank. The cone shape also makes it useful for hitting enemies behind cover that would be unreachable with linear ranged weapons. Consider pairing it with items or mutations that amplify Burn damage to turn that Burn 1 into meaningful pressure across multiple targets simultaneously.
