Shield:2 gives light protection, and AddCorpseHealth increases the health of the wearer's corpse after death — relevant in runs with corpse-interaction mechanics, necromancy builds, or anywhere popping or reviving corpses matters. A niche common that excels when corpse durability has real value.

AddCorpseHealth directly increases how much health the wearer's body retains after death, which affects how many times corpse-triggered effects can fire before the body is depleted. In runs with abilities or items that interact with corpses — like Necromancer class abilities, explosion chains through corpses, or corpse-eating mechanics — a higher-health corpse represents more interactions per body. The Shield:2 contributes minimally to survival.

Muertos Mask is highly niche — almost irrelevant on builds that don't interact with corpses, but potentially strong in dedicated corpse-loop or necromancy strategies where dying characters need to yield maximum value. Pair with Necromancer abilities, Corpse Explosion, or other corpse-consumption effects to get full value. On non-corpse builds, almost any other face option provides more practical benefit.
