Nuclear Gun

Nuclear Gun is the rare weapon earned by completing the Nuclear Knife sidequest. It fires a devastating shot dealing 40 damage to the primary target and 20 damage to everything else on the field — a true weapon of mass destruction. The tradeoff is a 20% chance to break permanently on each use. Part of the Radioactive item set.

At 40 primary damage, Nuclear Gun can one-shot most non-boss enemies and chunk bosses significantly. The 20 splash damage to every other unit on the field makes it a devastating AoE nuke in fights with grouped enemies — a single shot can wipe multiple weak enemies simultaneously. The 20% break chance means roughly 1 in 5 shots destroys the weapon permanently, so every use is a gamble. Stacking LCK can reduce the break chance if the mechanic is LCK-influenced.

Nuclear Gun is best saved for the most impactful moments — boss fights, dense enemy clusters, or situations where your party needs a decisive single action to avoid wipeout. Firing it casually risks losing it to the break mechanic before a critical encounter. In Radioactive set builds, it is the crown jewel and should be treated as a limited-use ultimate ability rather than a standard attack. Pair it with cats who can follow up on its damage with finisher attacks.
