Obi

Uncommon neck armor from the Ninja set. Applies a Quivered status when you move, triggering an additional ranged attack on movement. Named after the traditional Japanese sash worn with a kimono, the Obi rewards mobile builds that reposition frequently — every step fires a projectile, turning movement into free offense. Part of the Ninja set alongside the Fukumen for a complete flanking and counter-attack kit.

MoveQuivered grants the Quivered status upon any movement, which fires a ranged attack at a nearby target. On a cat that moves often — whether through dashes, ability repositions, or standard movement actions — this generates a consistent stream of bonus projectile damage each turn. The ranged attack is separate from the cat's normal attack, so it doesn't interfere with the ability queue and effectively adds free DPS on every turn where movement occurs.

The Obi is excellent on any cat with high movement frequency: ninja-style flankers, cats with dash abilities, or builds that intentionally move before attacking each round. Cats that stay stationary or rarely reposition get little value from this piece. In the full Ninja set with the Fukumen, you get counters on incoming damage plus free projectiles on movement, covering both offensive and defensive angles. The Obi alone is already a strong neck armor for mobile builds who can trigger Quivered most turns.
