Pebble Terminator

The Terminator-class variant of the Pebble, a lightweight head armor piece that provides +2 Shield. Like all Terminator drops, it is functionally identical to the standard Pebble but is obtained by defeating Pebble-type Terminator enemies. The small Shield bonus helps absorb incoming damage before HP takes a hit, making it a minor but useful piece of layered defense on early cats.

Terminator variants of class items carry the same stats as their standard counterparts but are sourced from Terminator enemies — enhanced versions of regular enemies who carry superior gear. Defeating a Terminator is typically harder than a standard enemy, so the Pebble Terminator represents a very modest reward for the additional challenge. As with all Shield items, it layers with Brace to reduce incoming damage below what raw Shield provides.

Pebble Terminator is best used on early-game cats who have no better head armor available, where even +2 Shield meaningfully reduces damage from weak enemies. In later game stages, it should be replaced by more impactful head armors. Its value is primarily as a filler option that provides marginal protection without any stat penalties or special conditions attached.
