A common consumable with 2–4 uses that fires a ranged attack inflicting Confusion 2 on a target, once per battle. Confusion impairs the target's ability to aim and act predictably, disrupting dangerous enemies before they can act. The once-per-battle limit means you get the debuff up front and then fall back on the item's remaining uses as a standard ranged attack.

Confusion 2 causes the affected enemy to target random units, including potentially their own allies, for a number of turns proportional to the stack count. Applying it on the first action of a fight wastes the first enemy turn on misdirected attacks. After the one-per-battle Confusion use, the remaining 1–3 uses fire as standard ranged attacks, giving the item ongoing utility rather than a single-use purpose. The variable 2–4 durability means you may get more shots post-Confusion in lucky draws.

Purple Mushroom is most effective against high-threat single enemies — a boss or elite that would otherwise deal heavy focused damage. Applying Confusion 2 immediately redirects their first attack, potentially causing friendly fire among enemy ranks. Even when the Confusion window expires, the remaining uses keep the item functional as a basic ranged option. For builds that want proactive disruption without complex setup, it's an accessible crowd-control tool at common rarity.
