Rain Staff

A magical staff that summons rain on command. The Rain Staff calls down a storm that deals water or lightning damage to enemies in the target area, making it one of the few multi-target elemental weapons in the game.

Rain Staff's area coverage is its primary strength. Hitting multiple enemies per use effectively multiplies its damage output in crowded fights. The elemental damage type interacts with enemy resistances and weaknesses, and enemies weak to lightning or water take bonus damage from the downpour. Damage scales with INT, meaning it underperforms significantly without investment in that stat.

Excellent for INT-based caster builds in fights with multiple enemies clustered together. Particularly devastating when enemies are weak to its damage type. Pairs well with debuffs that reduce enemy elemental resistance. In single-target boss fights, its advantage diminishes, so consider carrying a more focused single-target weapon alongside it for those encounters.
