Ring of Frost

A rare trinket that grants InnateElement (frost), boosts elemental damage via AddDamageToElementDamage, and retaliates with frost damage on hit via RevengeDamage. Ring of Frost is a comprehensive frost build enabler — it shifts your elemental identity to ice, amplifies your frost output, and punishes enemies for striking you. Best suited for ability-heavy cats that deal consistent frost elemental damage.

InnateElement establishes frost as your cat's native damage type, which interacts with elemental resistances and weaknesses on enemies. AddDamageToElementDamage then amplifies every frost hit, making each ability scale higher. RevengeDamage fires a separate frost hit back at whatever struck you — this retaliation can itself be boosted by further elemental damage bonuses and can trigger Freeze on enemies that lack frost resistance. The three passives work in concert: enemies that hit you take frost retaliation, and enemies you target take boosted frost ability damage.

Ring of Frost is a cornerstone item for dedicated frost caster builds. Pair it with the Conductor trinket for status-on-elemental-hit, or with Liquid Nitrogen for additional elemental damage stacking. The Frozen armor set naturally complements the frost identity Ring of Frost establishes. Avoid slotting it on builds with no elemental abilities — without frost attacks to amplify, only the RevengeDamage passive remains useful.
