Web terrain created by Spinnerets can block enemy movement entirely or apply a Slowed status that reduces their SPD, giving your cats additional actions before enemies can reach you. The ability to place webs at chokepoints transforms narrow corridors into combat traps. Web-based abilities may also have synergies with insect or arachnid mutations that boost spider-type effects.

Spinnerets work best on high-SPD cats that can outmaneuver enemies and place webs ahead of approaching threats. The item synergizes with ranged or ability-focused builds that want maximum distance from enemies. In team compositions with strong area damage, Spinnerets' web fields concentrate enemies for devastating AoE follow-ups.
