An uncommon ranged weapon that fires a water-based projectile dealing 3 damage and applying Slow 1 to the target. The low damage is offset by the consistent slow, which helps kite enemies or buy time for cooldowns. Requires line of sight. Best suited to support roles or builds that stack slowing effects to control enemy movement rather than burst them down.
Slow 1 reduces the target's movement speed, forcing them to close distance more slowly and giving your team more turns before they arrive. Stacking multiple Slow applications on the same target from different sources or multiple Spitball shots can bring movement to a crawl. The water element may also interact with Fire-element terrain by putting it out, creating water tiles in exchange.
Useful for ranged builds that want to permanently keep distance from approaching enemies. Pair with other slow effects (Dry Ice, Ice Cubes) to heavily reduce movement speed across multiple enemies. The water element terrain interaction makes it surprisingly versatile in fire-heavy areas where you want to convert hazardous fire tiles into safer water tiles.
