Chain Lightning from the Tesla Cannon hits multiple enemies per shot, with each jump dealing the same or slightly reduced damage. This makes each use far more efficient against groups than individual targets. Enemies with Metal or Wet status take amplified Lightning damage, so pairing the Tesla Cannon with water-element items dramatically increases its damage output.

The Tesla Cannon is one of the best weapons in the game for clearing dense enemy rooms, making it invaluable in the later stages of difficult chapters. INT-based casters and electrical element builds maximize its output. Pair it with water-generating abilities or items like Ice Cubes or Old Hose to set up Wet status before firing for massive chain lightning damage.
