Very rare neck armor. Grants LCK +7, one of the highest single-stat bonuses in the game. Pure luck amplification — high LCK improves critical hit chance, item quality, and other luck-dependent systems. Part of the "The" trilogy alongside The Mind (INT +7, head) and The Body (CON +7, face). Running all three gives a massive boost across three different stats, each of which scales a distinct playstyle.

LCK is one of the more opaque stats in Mewgenics, but its effects are wide-ranging: it influences critical hit rate, the quality of item drops, event outcomes, and potentially other luck-gated game systems. A +7 bonus is a transformative increase — a cat wearing The Soul will crit more frequently, find higher-quality loot, and generally experience more favorable random outcomes throughout a run. No other neck piece in the game provides a straight +7 to any stat.

The Soul is a cornerstone item for luck-maximizing builds or any run where item drop quality and crit frequency are central. It pairs naturally with The Body (CON +7) and The Mind (INT +7) to form a trio that covers three of the most impactful stats simultaneously. Even as a standalone neck piece, the sheer magnitude of LCK +7 makes it the best-in-slot neck armor for nearly any cat that doesn't have a critical neck-slot dependency on a different item.
