Thrumming Spectacles

Rare face armor from the Thrumming set. Grants +1 Damage and +1 Thorns at turn end if you didn't use your basic attack that turn. Pairs with the Thrumming Circlet and Thrumming Charm to stack the passive bonus across all three armor slots. Especially effective in multi-cat parties where some cats can be designated as pure ability users, maximizing the Thrumming buff every single turn.

The Spectacles' passive activates independently from the other Thrumming pieces — each piece checks and awards its own bonus, so the full set awards +3 Damage and +3 Thorns per eligible turn. Over multiple turns, a cat that never basic attacks can accumulate large Damage and Thorns stacks, dramatically increasing both output and melee retaliation. The Thorns bonus is especially notable since it scales with how long the fight lasts.

Ideal on any cat whose main role is casting abilities: support healers, control mages, or summoners. These cats naturally skip basic attacks to use abilities, making the condition trivial to maintain. Combine with the Witch set if your cat has strong offensive spells, or with the Rotten Meat set if your cat's turn is spent maintaining summoned minions — both guarantee the Thrumming condition is met every round.
