Uranium Rod

The Uranium Rod is a very rare radioactive weapon that deals energy damage and applies heavy Radiation to enemies on contact. A devastating single-target irradiation device, the Uranium Rod makes the Irradiated Object look like a toy in comparison.

Uranium Rod applies Radiation at a higher intensity than other radiation weapons, stacking multiple ticks of radioactive damage per use. The concentrated nature of the rod means the wielder is also exposed to dangerous levels of radiation, making Radiation immunity or resistance essential. The raw HP drain from heavy Radiation can bring down even high-HP targets over just a few turns.

Uranium Rod is a cornerstone weapon for dedicated Radiation builds, especially powerful when combined with the Demon Core and Irradiated Object for overlapping radiation effects. Cats with Radiation immunity mutations can wield it without consequence, turning the self-damage risk into a non-issue. Against bosses that lack Radiation resistance, a few hits from the Uranium Rod can decide the fight.
