Tracy Newkirk is the miserable clerk at Paw Mart (P Mart), where the player buys food, house upgrades, and other supplies. She accepts older cats, age 5 days or above, and rewards you with three categories of upgrades across a 20-level progression track. The first donation requires just 1 cat, and every level after that costs 10 cats, for a total of 191 cats to exhaust her full reward chain. Tracy believes cats deserve the same rights as humans and regards herself as the only person who cares about animals, making her one of the most abrasive NPCs in Mewgenics despite being one of the most essential.

Tracy's rewards fall into three types. Food Storage Bins are the backbone of her upgrade track, with 10 total bins each adding 40 units of capacity on top of the base 100, for a maximum of 500 food storage. This is critical for sustaining long runs and large breeding operations. She also provides three Blank Collars at levels 2, 10, and 18. Each Blank Collar functions as a random copy of an unlocked Class Collar each day, letting you field multiple cats of the same class in a single adventure party. Finally, she offers seven Mysterious Idol furniture pieces at various milestones, each costing 150 coins and providing unique stat boosts when placed in your house. After exhausting all 20 levels, Tracy's endless reward stocks rare items at a 50% discount for every additional 10 cats donated.

Building Tracy's favor by funneling aged cats to her regularly is well worth the effort, especially for players leaning into specialized mono-class compositions with Blank Collars. Since cats age naturally over the course of your run, you will accumulate eligible cats passively as long as you keep breeding. Tracy also operates shops across multiple chapters, appearing in adventure shops, the Desert, and even alternate timeline routes in Act 3 where she is replaced by variants like a cavewoman, robot, or Ash from The End Is Nigh. Her surname is a nod to PETA president Tracy Reiman and founder Ingrid Newkirk, and PETA ironically honored the character on social media without noticing that cats sent to P Mart are implied to be sold as food.
