Status Effect

Doomed

Ticks down at the end of your turn. When it hits 0, Die (without being injured).

Doomed is a special debuff that applies a countdown timer to the afflicted unit. When the countdown reaches zero, the unit is instantly killed regardless of its current HP, Shield, or other protective effects. Doomed is one of the few status effects that can bypass all forms of damage reduction and defensive mechanics.

The only reliable counterplay to Doomed is removing it before the countdown expires, either through cleanse effects or specific abilities that can clear special debuffs. Doomed is applied sparingly by certain boss mechanics and rare enemy abilities, making it an encounter-specific threat rather than a common hazard. When Doomed appears, it demands immediate attention and should take priority over almost all other tactical considerations, since no amount of healing or shielding can save a unit once the timer runs out.
