Double Cast
The next spell you cast this turn is cast an additional time for free.
Double Cast is a powerful buff that causes the next active ability used to be cast again for free, reducing the Double Cast stack by 1. This effectively doubles the output of a single spell without costing additional mana, making it one of the most impactful offensive buffs for spellcaster builds. The free repeat cast inherits all properties of the original cast, including damage, range, and effects.
Some abilities are excluded from Double Cast's effect, notably Chaos Teleport and certain special actions. These exceptions prevent potential exploits or unintended interactions with particularly powerful effects. Double Cast consumes one stack per ability use, so multiple stacks allow multiple consecutive double-casts. This makes stacking Double Cast before a burst turn extremely valuable.
Double Cast synergizes best with high-impact, high-mana-cost spells where the free second cast provides the most value. Applying Double Cast before using your strongest offensive spell effectively deals double damage for the mana cost of a single cast. For buff or healing spells, Double Cast applies the effect twice, which can stack buffs or provide twice the healing. Double Action is a similar but more general variant that causes the next ability to be used twice.
