Double Action

The next ability you use is used an additional time for free.

Double Action is a buff that causes the next ability used to activate twice for free. This is similar to Double Cast but applies more broadly to abilities rather than just spells. The duplicated ability fires at no additional mana cost and with the same targeting and effects as the original use. One stack is consumed per ability activation.

Double Action provides tremendous value when paired with high-impact abilities, as the free second activation effectively doubles the output. For damage abilities, this means double damage. For buff abilities, this means double the buff application. For summoning abilities, this can mean double the summons. The versatility of Double Action makes it universally valuable regardless of build type.

Strategically, saving Double Action for the most impactful ability in your rotation maximizes its value. Using it on a low-impact ability wastes the potential of the free duplication. Double Action stacks from multiple sources, allowing for setup turns where you accumulate stacks before unleashing a burst of doubled abilities. Combined with Free Spell or Insight, Double Action can enable massive single-turn outputs that can swing entire encounters.
