Elite Buff: Spiky

Internal engine status effect. This is the status applied to elite enemies with the Spiky modifier. Spiky deals retaliation damage to any unit that hits the elite with a melee attack, similar to Thorns. Use ranged attacks to avoid triggering the spike damage.
