Status Effect

Trample

None

Internal engine status effect. Trample allows a unit to deal damage to enemies they move through during their movement phase. Instead of stopping when they reach an occupied tile, a Trampling unit barrels through, dealing collision damage to anything in their path.

Trample turns movement itself into an attack, allowing the unit to deal damage without using an action or ability. Units with high movement speed can trample through multiple enemies in a single turn, dealing damage to each one. The Plow elite buff grants Trample to elite enemies, allowing them to barrel through your team formations and deal contact damage in the process.

When facing enemies with Trample, avoid lining up your cats in the path of the enemy's movement. Spreading out laterally prevents a single trampling charge from hitting multiple cats. For your own cats with Trample, maximizing movement speed increases the number of enemies you can plow through in a single turn. Trample damage may interact with Thorns, potentially causing both units to take contact damage.
