Charge

Gains {stacks} mana at the start of its next turn.

Charge builds up power over one or more turns, then releases it as a massively empowered attack. While charging, the unit cannot take other actions, but the payoff is a single devastating strike that deals far more damage than a normal attack.

Charge is a high-commitment, high-reward mechanic. The charging unit is vulnerable during the windup since they cannot act or reposition. Protect charging cats with Shield, Body Guard, or Taunting allies to ensure they survive long enough to release the charged attack. When an enemy starts charging, you have a window to either burst them down before the attack lands, stun them to interrupt the charge, or stack defensive buffs to survive the impact.
