Magic Weakness

Incoming magic damage has 100% Crit Chance and can't miss.

Magic Weakness is the magical counterpart to Marked, causing all incoming magic damage against the afflicted unit to have 100% crit chance and never miss. Stacks reduce by 1 per turn, creating a temporary window where magic attacks are guaranteed to critically hit the target. This debuff is devastating against units that rely on dodge chance or spell resistance to survive, as it removes the randomness from magic damage entirely.

The guaranteed magic crits from Magic Weakness effectively double (or more) all magic damage dealt to the target, making it an ideal setup for spellcaster-heavy teams. Unlike Marked, Magic Weakness focuses on magic damage rather than physical, so it benefits Intelligence-based builds and spell-focused cats. Applying Magic Weakness before unleashing high-damage spells creates massive burst damage windows that can eliminate even tanky enemies in a single turn.

Magic Weakness and Marked can be stacked on the same target to make it vulnerable to both physical and magical damage simultaneously, which is the ideal setup for mixed-damage teams. When your own cats have Magic Weakness applied, SpellShield and positioning away from enemy spellcasters are your best defenses. The debuff's temporary nature (stack decay per turn) means you need to act quickly once it is applied to maximize the damage window before it expires.
