SpellShield

Spell Shield absorbs incoming magical damage, blocking or reducing the next spell-based attack that hits the unit. The shield negates magic damage up to a certain threshold, then dissipates, leaving the unit vulnerable to subsequent spells.

Spell Shield is the magical counterpart to the regular Shield buff, providing protection specifically against spell damage while leaving physical attacks unaffected. It is most valuable when facing heavy caster enemies or bosses with devastating magic abilities. Apply it to cats with low magic resistance who would otherwise be one-shot by powerful spells. Unlike Shield which absorbs any damage type, Spell Shield is specialized but can be stacked alongside regular Shield for comprehensive protection.
