Rot
Hatches a Fly at the end of its turn. Damage from worms and bugs always crits against this.
Rot is a damage-over-time debuff that deals decay damage at the end of each turn. Unlike Burn, Bleed, and Poison, Rot tends to deal higher damage per stack but is less commonly applied, appearing primarily in encounters with undead, fungal, or decay-themed enemies.
Rot stacks can be particularly dangerous because of their higher per-stack damage, meaning even a few stacks can chunk a cat's HP significantly each turn. Areas with undead presence or swamp-like terrain are the primary sources. Holy and fire-element abilities are generally effective at dealing with Rot-applying enemies, and cleanse effects can remove the stacks before they become critical.
