Short Circuit

Short Circuit overloads a unit's systems, disabling certain abilities or causing them to malfunction. A Short Circuited unit may find specific abilities unusable or firing incorrectly, disrupting their normal combat routine.

Short Circuit is commonly applied by Electric-element attacks and is particularly effective against ability-reliant cats. Unlike Muted which blocks all abilities, Short Circuit may selectively disable or alter specific skills. Fall back on basic attacks and unaffected abilities until the effect wears off. Applying Short Circuit to enemies that rely on dangerous signature abilities can neutralize their biggest threats.
