Short Circuit

Short Circuit is a debilitating debuff exclusive to Collarless cats that disables all actions. While Short Circuited, the unit cannot attack, cast spells, or perform any action except Break Circuit, which removes the Short Circuit when used. This effectively wastes the unit's entire turn on recovery.

Break Circuit is only available to Collarless units. Short Circuit cannot be removed by standard cleansing effects; only the Break Circuit action clears it. This makes Short Circuit a unique debuff with a specific, non-standard removal method tied to the Collarless archetype.

Short Circuit is a risk inherent to the Collarless playstyle, which trades collar benefits for other advantages. The effect is functionally similar to Stun in terms of lost turns, but the required Break Circuit action means it cannot be passively waited out. Short Circuit emphasizes the tradeoffs of the Collarless archetype.
