Soul Link

Whenever a soul linked character loses health, all soul linked characters lose that health as well.

Soul Link is a shared-damage debuff that connects multiple units together. When any soul-linked character loses health, all other soul-linked characters lose the same amount of health. This creates a chain of shared vulnerability where damaging one linked unit effectively damages all of them simultaneously.

The shared damage mechanic amplifies all damage dealt to any linked unit. If three units are soul-linked and one takes 5 damage, all three take 5 damage, tripling the effective damage. This makes Soul Link extremely dangerous when applied to your cats, as a single powerful hit can damage your entire team. Healing one linked unit does not share the healing to others.

When your cats are Soul Linked, spreading them apart to avoid area-of-effect attacks is critical. Against Soul Linked enemies, the shared damage is a significant advantage allowing multi-target damage with single-target attacks. Soul Link is one of the more situationally powerful effects in the game, capable of dramatically swinging fights in either direction.
