Status Effect
Taunted
None
Taunted restricts an enemy's targeting, forcing them to attack the unit that taunted them. A Taunted enemy cannot freely choose its target and must direct attacks toward the source of the taunt, effectively neutralizing their ability to pick off weak or injured cats.
Taunted is the passive counterpart to the Taunting status: applied automatically to enemies when a cat uses a taunt ability. The debuff lasts for a set duration, during which the affected enemy is locked onto the taunter. This is especially valuable against dangerous enemies with high single-target damage or those that would otherwise prioritize your squishiest cat. Note that area-of-effect attacks from Taunted enemies can still hit other units caught in the blast, so positioning around a taunted enemy still matters.
