Bounty Hunting
SpawnExtraThingsOnBattleStart: {"object":"EventBountyHunter"}
Bounty Hunting is a rare utility weather effect in Mewgenics that introduces a unique combat dynamic: at the start of each battle, one random unit on the field receives a bounty marker, and a powerful Bounty Hunter mob spawns with the sole objective of hunting down the marked unit.
The bounty is assigned randomly, with no bias toward either side. However, since standard combat encounters always feature more enemies than player cats (usually 4 cats against 6 or more enemies), the probability naturally favors an enemy being marked. When an enemy receives the bounty, the Bounty Hunter effectively becomes a temporary ally, relentlessly pursuing and attacking the marked enemy until it is killed.
The Bounty Hunter itself is a formidable combatant with unlimited pursuit range (limited only by line of sight). It ignores everything except the bounty target, meaning it will walk past your cats and other enemies to reach the marked unit. This can be tactically useful for drawing attention, creating diversions, or simply having an extra damage source focused on a high-priority target.
If the bounty lands on one of your cats, the situation becomes more dangerous but still manageable. The Bounty Hunter will pursue your marked cat relentlessly, so you can either protect that cat with defensive abilities and healing, or use the marked cat as mobile bait, kiting the Bounty Hunter through enemy formations and letting it deal collateral damage to enemies it passes through.
Bounty Hunting can appear in any biome and is classified as a rare weather. Its probabilistic favor toward the player makes it one of the more welcome rare weathers to encounter.
