Low Gravity

Low Gravity is a rare extreme weather effect in Mewgenics that fundamentally enhances ranged combat and displacement mechanics. All jumps, throws, and projectile attacks gain +2 Range, projectile attacks ignore blocking, and every physical attack gains Knockback 1 (with existing knockback values boosted by an additional +1).

For ranged and projectile builds, Low Gravity is one of the best possible weather outcomes. The +2 Range extension means your ranged cats can hit targets from enormous distances, often reaching across the entire arena without needing to reposition. The block-ignoring property means that obstacles, terrain features, and even other units no longer provide cover against projectile attacks. Ranged cats can hit anything they have line of sight to, period.

The universal Knockback 1 on all physical attacks transforms melee combat as well. Every punch, slash, and strike now pushes the target one tile, which creates constant displacement that can be exploited with environmental hazards (spikes, lava, water, mines, or pits). Builds that already focus on knockback become even more powerful, with knockback values increased by +1 across the board.

Low Gravity also enhances jump and throw abilities, making movement abilities cover more distance and making throw-based attacks reach further targets. Mobile builds that use jump movement can cross the arena in fewer actions, and throw abilities become viable at ranges that would normally be impossible.

Low Gravity can appear in any biome and is classified as a rare weather. It is widely considered one of the strongest weathers in the game for ranged-focused team compositions.
