Lord Bunga is an adventure boss encountered in the Ice Age area of Act 3. He is the lord of the Cavemen tribe found commonly throughout the Ice Age, sitting on a throne made from the remnants of his enemies with a baby perched on top of his head. Lord Bunga is a two-phase boss whose transition from passive ruler to bloodthirsty berserker represents one of the most dramatic difficulty spikes in a single encounter.

In Phase 1, Lord Bunga starts the fight sitting passively on his throne, guarded by Champion cavemen. He retaliates when hit, consumes adjacent units at the start of his turn (a lethal grab that must be avoided), and is blind to units behind him. The phase transition triggers when either both his champions are defeated or Lord Bunga loses half his health. At that point, the baby starts smacking Lord Bunga's head furiously, causing Bunga to grab the baby, scream at it, and then devour it. This sends him into a bloodthirsty craze for Phase 2, where he becomes far more aggressive with increased damage and mobility.

In Phase 1, exploit his blind spot by attacking from behind to avoid retaliation, and never end a turn adjacent to him or he will consume your cat at the start of his turn. Focus down the champions to trigger Phase 2 on your terms rather than accidentally pushing Bunga to half health without preparation. In Phase 2, maintain distance and use ranged damage to whittle him down while keeping your Cleric safe for sustained healing through his enraged attacks. The fight rewards careful positioning and awareness of his adjacency consumption zone throughout both phases.
