ADHD
Increases speed and action variety but reduces focus duration
ADHD increases your cat's speed and action variety but reduces focus duration, imposing INT -1 as a penalty. The speed and action variety bonuses make the cat more mobile and versatile in combat, while the Intelligence loss slightly reduces spell power and mana capacity. ADHD represents a trade-off between mental focus and physical energy.
ADHD is heritable and belongs to the birth defect category. It can pass from parent to kitten through breeding, with inbreeding increasing the chance. It can also be acquired through events or applied with a Disorder Syringe from the Organ Grinder. The INT -1 penalty is minor and primarily affects caster cats that rely on Intelligence for spell damage. For physical combat cats, the speed and action benefits outweigh the mental penalty.
Strategically, ADHD favors fast, aggressive builds that benefit from increased speed and action options. Physical damage cats and multi-action builds get the most value from the enhanced speed while barely noticing the INT reduction. Pure caster builds may prefer to avoid ADHD since the Intelligence loss directly impacts their spell effectiveness. Overall, ADHD is a mild disorder that leans slightly positive for physical builds and slightly negative for casters.
