Disorder

Declawed

You can't equip weapons.

Declawed prevents your cat from equipping weapons entirely. Without a weapon, the cat's basic attack becomes unarmed, losing any weapon-specific damage bonuses, range modifications, and special effects. This is a severe restriction for melee-focused builds that rely on weapon damage, but it does not affect spell casting or ability usage.

Declawed is heritable and belongs to the injury category. It can pass from parent to kitten through breeding or be acquired through events and the Organ Grinder's Disorder Syringe. Unlike Severed Thumb (which also blocks weapons but spawns food), Declawed has no compensating benefit at all. The weapon restriction is identical to Severed Thumb's but without the food generation.

Declawed should be replaced whenever possible since it is a purely negative disorder. On caster or support cats that rarely use basic attacks, the weapon restriction is less impactful since spells and abilities are unaffected. On melee fighters or cats with strong weapon abilities, Declawed is devastating. If you must keep a weapon-restricting disorder, Severed Thumb is strictly better due to the food spawn compensation.
