Cultist Washer

The Cultist Washer is a specialized unit in Johnny's cultist faction, encountered in The Lab. Unlike combat-focused cultist variants, the Washer's role is to enable Johnny's most dangerous abilities: Johnny can only use his psychic spells while being washed, making the Washer a critical support piece that the player must neutralize to shut down the boss's most powerful attacks.

The Washer itself is not a heavy combatant, but its presence fundamentally changes the priority order of the encounter. With a Washer active and adjacent to Johnny, the fight escalates dramatically. The washing condition that enables Johnny's psychic spells creates a dynamic where simply piling damage into Johnny may not be as effective as first disrupting his support structure.

Eliminating or displacing the Cultist Washer should be an early priority whenever it appears alongside Johnny. Without its washing support, Johnny is limited to his normal attacks, making the entire encounter much more controlled. Knockback abilities that can separate the Washer from Johnny are particularly useful, as is any crowd control that can lock the Washer in place and prevent it from reaching its target.
