Spiderling

Spiderling is a small parasitic enemy found across The Boneyard, Caves, Desert, Bunker, and End chapters. Its melee attack burrows inside victims to inflict Infested, dealing 3 damage to its own attacker as it digs in. With only 2 HP it is extremely fragile, but its Infested status can become a persistent problem if multiple Spiderlings reach their targets. Fire tile effects and ranged attacks counter it effectively before it can close to melee range.
