Were Man is a lycanthropic enemy from The Ice Age (gpakId: WereMan), closely related to Wereman. Like Wereman, it represents a human who has undergone a bestial transformation, combining aggressive melee prowess with the caveman faction's intense hatred of cats. It appears to be a data variant of the same creature type, likely sharing the multi-hit jump-attack combo and Knockup finishing strike that defines the Wereman archetype.
The Were Man and Wereman entries in the CMS represent what may be two different data passes on the same enemy, or a subtle variant in behavior or spawn conditions. Both share the lycanthropic theme and the Ice Age setting. If Were Man is a distinct encounter, it shares all the hallmarks of the Wereman: threatening at range via jump-attack, Knockup on the final combo hit, and cleave properties that make clustered formations hazardous.
Apply the same strategy as against Wereman: DoT status effects for sustained damage, exploit its Caveman-hatred to draw it toward enemy faction targets, and avoid clustering cats to minimize cleave impact. Keep cats out of its jump range when possible, and use Knockback or crowd control to interrupt its combo before the Knockup finisher connects. See also: Wereman.
