Tentacle Set

The Tentacle Set is a defensive collection that specializes in shrugging off status effects, offering a form of built-in cleanse that helps squishy or debuff-vulnerable characters stay functional against enemies who rely on stacking conditions.

Equipping 3 or more pieces of the Tentacle Set causes all debuffs to be cleansed from your character at the end of each turn. This automatic cleanse removes negative status effects like poison, stuns, weakness, and other conditions without requiring a dedicated action or item, effectively making the set bonus a passive dispel that fires every round.

The Tentacle Set is most valuable against enemy-heavy encounters that stack persistent debuffs — think bosses or elite enemies with poison, disease, or multi-turn crowd control. Characters who struggle to act while afflicted benefit most, since the end-of-turn cleanse guarantees a clean slate before your next action. Note that the cleanse triggers at end of turn, so debuffs still apply for the duration of that turn before being removed.
