Heavy metal jewelry that catches the light with every move. Shield:4 and CHA+2 are solid, and the Metal tag adds synergy with metal-affecting abilities. SPD-2 is the cost of carrying all that gold — acceptable for slow builds but a real concern for speed-dependent ones. A charisma-and-defense neck piece for builds that want both protection and social presence.

The combination of Shield:4 and CHA+2 is unusual — most defensive neck pieces don't improve Charisma, and most Charisma neck pieces don't provide substantial Shield. Bling occupies a niche for builds that want the neck slot to do double duty. The Metal status makes the wearer vulnerable to lightning damage, which can offset the Shield value in electrical-heavy zones.

The SPD-2 penalty weighs differently depending on the cat. Frontline tanks, Clerics, or any slow-by-design cat barely notice it. Speed-focused cats or builds relying on initiative order to act before enemies should consider other options. The Metal synergy is most relevant in the Lead set, which also includes metal-status pieces and the Frying Pan.
