AddStatusToBasicAttack fires on every basic attack, building a status on the target each time the wearer strikes. This is free debuff pressure that costs no AP and requires no specific ability setup. The CHA+2 enhances social events, charisma-scaling abilities, and any items that key off CHA. The INT-1 reduces spell damage and INT checks, which is completely irrelevant for physical melee builds but meaningful for hybrid or INT-secondary builds.

Bozo is excellent for CHA-scaling melee builds that rely on basic attacks and don't cast spells. Pairs with Cool Rocks or Eye of Ra for multiple on-attack status sources stacking from basic strikes. A natural fit for Bard-adjacent builds or social-combat hybrids that want CHA bonuses alongside combat utility. Avoid on any build that relies on INT for damage — the INT-1 meaningfully reduces output there.
