Use it at the start of a tough fight to maximize the window it's active, or pair it with the Stomach trinket to double the effect to +10 INT.

Intelligence in Mewgenics scales magic damage and various INT-dependent ability effects. A +5 boost applied at the start of a fight benefits every subsequent spell cast, making Brain Candy functionally increase all magic output for the entire encounter. In builds where INT is the primary damage stat, this converts into a consistent damage uplift across every ability use. The Stomach interaction at +10 INT is one of the more significant single-use power spikes available to Mage builds.

Brain Candy is a Mage-exclusive optimal pick — on physical builds, INT does little and the consumable slot is wasted. Activate it on turn 1 of boss fights where sustained spell damage is your plan to ensure the full +5 benefits all casts. Pair with Stomach for +10 INT on a pure INT caster to dramatically spike their damage output. Against multi-phase bosses, the battle-duration effect covers the whole encounter. Among the INT-boost consumables, Brain Candy is straightforward and reliable for any spell-focused cat.
