As the face slot of the Chip set alongside the Spinal Chip and Ocular Chip, it stacks ability cost reduction across all three armor slots. The INT penalty becomes more significant for spell-scaling builds, so assess whether the cost reduction outweighs the lost spellpower for your specific ability lineup.
