If you're building around the Gemstone set or need Charisma for specific interactions, this fills the face slot well. The Kinetic Spikes contribution fits naturally into any build already stacking contact-damage effects like Thorns.

Best treated as a Gemstone set connector piece. On its own the stats are understated — but in a Gemstone set build alongside pieces like the Quartz Necklace and Topaz Ring, the combined bonuses provide broad coverage across multiple stats. The Caves-exclusive availability means you'll only find it in that chapter, so take it if you're building a Gemstone run and the face slot is otherwise empty or weaker. Outside the set context, the Kinetic Spikes are its most unusual feature and may appeal to contact-damage builds looking for another stack.
