Irradiated Object

The Irradiated Object is a rare weapon of ambiguous origin that pulses with dangerous radiation. Using it on enemies applies Radiation status while also potentially irradiating the wielder, demanding careful risk management. A close cousin to the Demon Core with a more improvised aesthetic.

Radiation applied to enemies causes ongoing HP loss each turn, and the Irradiated Object likely applies a softer version of this compared to the Demon Core's more extreme irradiation. Cats with Radiation immunity from mutations or passives can wield this weapon freely without self-harm. The radiation aura may also affect adjacent allies, so maintain some distance when using it.

Irradiated Object works best on cats with Radiation resistance mutations or immunity passives, allowing safe use without the self-damage penalty. In radiation-themed builds that benefit from being irradiated, the self-exposure is a bonus rather than a drawback. It's a solid alternative to the Demon Core for Radiation builds when the Core isn't available.
