Leather Choker

The Leather Choker is the neck armor piece of the Leather set, providing +1 Shield and +1 Brace. Identical stats to the Leather Cap and Leather Mask. Running the full three-slot Leather set activates the set bonus and stacks three Brace applications, which compounds the stabilization effect. Also contributes to the same set as the Nightmare Hat.

In the neck slot, Leather Choker competes with neck pieces that offer elemental immunity, set bonuses from other collections, or stronger stat profiles. The +1 Shield and +1 Brace are clean and useful, but the main value proposition is set completion. With the Nightmare Hat as the premium payoff item in the Leather set, the Choker is one of three mandatory fillers you need to slot before that payoff becomes active.

Best on melee-focused cats running the Leather set who have already committed to the Cap and Mask. Standalone, Leather Choker is a solid-but-unspectacular neck armor. It earns its slot by enabling the set rather than for its own stats. If you have the Nightmare Hat and two other Leather pieces already, grabbing the Choker to complete the collection is an easy call.
