An uncommon consumable that starts with 0 uses and builds charges by absorbing food pickups — whenever you pick up a food item, it adds one use to the Lunch Box instead of applying the food's normal effect. Each use heals 5 HP. The tradeoff is giving up direct food healing in exchange for stockpiling controlled heals for later. Best in environments with frequent food drops where you want to bank recovery for harder fights ahead.

The Lunch Box's core mechanic converts otherwise-random food healing into on-demand 5 HP heals usable during combat. Food drops between fights can be unpredictable in timing, but Lunch Box turns those pickups into a resource you control. If you pass through a food-rich area before a boss encounter, you can bank multiple charges and enter the fight with several reliable heals ready. The conversion cost is that food doesn't immediately heal — if your cat is wounded now and finds food, the Lunch Box delays that healing until the next combat use.

Lunch Box is best on cats that frequently encounter food drops but don't urgently need the immediate HP. Give it to a cat that's generally healthy to absorb food pickups and stockpile charges, then use those charges strategically in difficult fights rather than wasting them on over-healing. In food-dense chapters, a well-loaded Lunch Box heading into a boss fight can provide substantial on-demand sustain. Avoid it on cats that are often injured and need immediate food healing to survive each area.
