A rare face armor from The Future, part of the Cyborg set. Provides +3 Shield and +1 INT, with passives that extend both ranged and melee attack range. Metal adds electrical conductivity.

Both ranged and melee range extensions are active simultaneously, making the Optic Nerve Implant uniquely versatile across different attack types. Extra melee range can change how attacks interact with terrain and enemy positioning, while extra ranged range lets you safely hit targets from greater distance. Combined, this is the positioning piece of the Cyborg set.

Particularly valuable for ranged builds that want to attack from maximum safe distance, and for melee builds that want to connect with enemies without fully entering their attack zone. Complete the Cyborg set with the Cerebellum Implant and Frontal Lobe Implant for a well-rounded cybernetic kit.
