A very rare Space set weapon that deals no damage but applies Charm 3 to its target — with a crucial restriction: it can only hit from behind. Charm turns enemies into temporary allies, making it extremely powerful when you can get into position. The positional requirement demands patience and good movement management, but a charmed enemy in a tough fight can completely flip the dynamic. Noted as potentially unused in the current game version.

Charm 3 is a strong status effect: at stacks of 3, most enemies will turn and fight on your side for the duration, effectively removing a threat and converting it into temporary firepower. The behind-only activation mirrors the positioning requirement seen on other stealth-style mechanics, rewarding flanking play. No damage output means the Probe is purely a control weapon — it has no combat use beyond the Charm proc.

If the Probe is active in the current version, it excels in the hands of fast, mobile characters who can get behind enemies reliably — Thieves, SPD-heavy builds, or anyone with knockback tools to rotate enemies. Charming a boss minion or a high-threat enemy early in a fight can dramatically reduce incoming pressure. The very rare status means opportunities to use it are limited, so plan your positioning in advance when you carry one.
