Rag Hood

A common head armor piece exclusive to The Boneyard, part of the Rag item set. Grants +15% Dodge Chance — the head slot entry in the Rag set trio. Combine with Rags and Rag Mask for a full Rag set, giving a substantial cumulative dodge bonus from three common-rarity pieces. A viable early evasion option before rarer head armors become available.

The head slot is the most impactful armor position, so using it for +15% dodge with no Shield or stat bonus means committing fully to the evasion identity. The Rag Hood is only worth equipping in the head slot if you're running the complete Rag set — standalone, it loses against head armors that offer Shield, stat bonuses, or impactful passives. As part of the set, however, the combined dodge total justifies the slot usage.

The capstone of the Rag set in The Boneyard. With all three Rag pieces equipped, a 45% base Dodge Chance means nearly half of incoming attacks miss, which translates directly into survivability. Pairs especially well with Dodge-boosting mutations or the Thief class's native dodge kit. Replace the Hood when a stronger head armor becomes available, but hold onto the set if dodge remains central to your strategy.
