Rare Furniture Box is a very rare trinket that starts with 4 Shield and grants +5 LCK at the cost of -5 SPD, but permanently destroys itself the moment the shield runs out. The BreakWhenNoShield mechanic makes this a one-time defensive investment — you get a solid luck and shield package until the shield depletes, then the trinket slot opens up. Best used early or when you expect the shield to absorb critical hits before it's exhausted.

+5 LCK is a significant luck bonus that improves crit chance, item drop quality, and luck-gated interactions for as long as the shield holds. -5 SPD reduces turn order priority, meaning the cat acts later in each round while the trinket is equipped. Once the 4 Shield is depleted the trinket self-destructs, removing both the LCK bonus and the SPD penalty simultaneously and freeing the slot. The lifespan of this trinket is therefore inversely tied to how aggressively enemies target the wearer: a frontliner takes hits quickly while a backline support may keep the shield for many fights.

Rare Furniture Box is best on a backline cat that rarely gets hit, preserving the shield and the +5 LCK bonus for as long as possible while the SPD penalty is a minor concern for a unit that goes last anyway. Alternatively, equip it on any cat early in a run when the shield is fresh and the luck boost helps with item quality from the next few drops. When it eventually breaks, the freed trinket slot lets you equip something permanent. If you have shield-regeneration effects, you may be able to extend the trinket's lifespan by keeping the shield from hitting zero.
