Recycled Necklace

A neck armor piece from The Junkyard, part of the Recycled set. It grants +2 Shield but carries the Brittle and Metal tags, meaning it can be destroyed by certain attacks. When it breaks, it triggers StatusOnBreak and drops a common item, making its destruction at least somewhat useful.

The Brittle tag means this necklace can shatter under fire from certain sources, which then triggers the StatusOnBreak proc. The Metal tag makes it vulnerable to electrical or metal-targeting effects. The common item drop on break provides a small but reliable consolation — you lose the Shield but gain something to work with.

Useful early in The Junkyard when +2 Shield is meaningful and the drop-on-break provides a free loot roll. Avoid investing in Recycled gear if enemies in the area frequently target Metal items. Pairs with other Recycled set pieces for set bonuses, though the inherent fragility means the set is best treated as a transitional option rather than a long-term build anchor.
