Recycled Set

The Recycled Set turns destruction into opportunity — whenever a set piece breaks, you find a rare item to replace it. This creates an unusual incentive to let pieces shatter, especially if you can chain into better equipment. Works best in builds that cycle through gear quickly or deliberately farm breakable items for the proc.

Recycled Set pieces use salvaged and repurposed junk-themed gear across head, neck, and face slots. The 3-piece bonus triggers whenever a piece breaks: you receive a rare item drop as compensation. Pieces can break due to Fragile or Brittle properties, certain enemy abilities, or specific events. The rare item doesn't necessarily replace the broken slot, but it's always a higher rarity than a normal drop.

Recycled Set creates a unique economic strategy: deliberately equip Fragile or Brittle items in your Recycled Set slots to farm rare item procs. Each time a piece breaks, you gain a rare drop and can re-equip another Fragile item to potentially break again. However, losing the 3-piece set bonus when a piece breaks reduces the proc until you re-equip. This set rewards a specific gear-cycling playstyle and is relatively niche compared to sets with unconditional bonuses. Most effective when you have a reliable source of cheap, breakable items to feed into the cycle.
